My Story

We are taking on the 24 mile Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge to raise funds for MISSEDABEAT, a charity dedicated to providing lifesaving defibrillators to communities in need. Sudden cardiac arrest can happen anywhere and having access to a defibrillator can be the difference between life and death.  MISSEDABEAT's mission is to ensue that these life saving devices are available in most public spaces.  By conquering the 3 Peaks Challenge we aim to raise awareness and vital funds , helping to expand the charitys reach and make defibrillators more accessible to those who need them most.  Mark does a fantastic job of ensuring that there are defibrillators in and around Aycliffe and we would like to help him on his mission to ensure there is a defibrillator accessible within 500 meters of a person.  MISSEDABEAT aim to intall bleed control kits along side the defribillators.  Theses kits will include a tourniquet, trauma dressings, haemostatic gauzes and chest seals.  These are important as someone can bleed out in as little as 3-5 minutes making these kits imperative.  Thankyou for taking the time to read this and any donations will be greatly appreciated.  Many thanks, Mark , Adam & Amy xxx
